HEIAN
HEIAN is a multidisciplinary show that blends live Music, Acro Dance and Circus together to offer a proposal full of strength and sensitivity to the audience.
The work describes the path to an emotional state of balance and well-being.
The dialogue between music, movement and body control will generate feelings that fluctuate from being trapped into an emotion to finally find calm.
“Heian”…means Peace and Tranquility in Japanese language…
Original Music by Zen del Sur (Senderos Musicales). This show combines acrobatic and contemporary dance, urban dance resources and contact-improvisation, circus technique of inverted balances (handstands), humor, body percussion and an acoustic musical content com- posed of classic instruments (piano and cello), contem- porary and African origin instruments (Hang, Pumpkin Drums, Kalimba, Darbuka).
